MUSIC FOR DESERTS

fantasie for quintet: clarinet, trumpet, tuba, vibraphone & contrabass.

-baroque air. (C major)
-nine of east. (C-sharp major)
-love in desert. (C major)
-march arabique. (C minor)

Movement-1. "baroque Air"
A baroque composer is invited by a Arabian king to his land. This movement explain the composer's voyage from Europe to East. After the long desert, he see the king's gorgeus land. The composer meets the king who is in his service.

Movement- 2. "nine of East"
Night. The Arabian king have organised a great night for his visitor. Sudennly, the composer see an amasing woman in the crowd. He meet this woman and fall in love with her. But there is a big trouble: the woman was the king's daughter.


Movement- 3. "Love in Desert" After the night, the composer and the woman secretly go out and they make love. They stay together until morning, trying not to think waht will happen.

Movement- 4. "March Arabique"
This last movement explain the scene when the king saw all and decide to kill his invit�.
